Method

I usually work alone or with one assistant. My gear is minimal and not intimidating.

I start any subject approach from a macro (big picture) point of view and ideally work towards micro (up close) images.

My pedigree as a professional commercial photographer (www.grabb.co.nz) means that I am always shooting to a brief. It’s sometimes challenging to remember the brief in the heat of the moment, but this is where three decades of experience come in to play.
